Valuing the power of building strong school-home partnerships, NPS Hosur Road conducted an enriching professional development session, as part of its Educators’ Development Programme, on Partnering with Parents: Making PTMs Productive and Positive. The workshop equipped teachers with practical strategies to conduct parent-teacher meetings that are purposeful, empathetic, and solution-oriented. Through interactive activities, role plays, case studies, and communication exercises, educators learnt to navigate routine and challenging conversations with confidence, professionalism, and sensitivity. The session emphasized active listening, evidence-based feedback, collaborative problem-solving, and respectful communication, enabling teachers to strengthen trust with parents and work together to support every child’s academic, social, and emotional growth.
